About

Hi there…so you somehow found this site.

Not sure how you did that as it has not been kept up sinc 2010! I sort of let it go and have since moved on  to other things.

You can now find me at JoyfullySolo.com.  Pop on over and say hi…

My name, as you probably guessed, is Kendra. I live in northern California which I both love and hate. I love the beauty that I am surrounded by and I love the friends that I have here. But I hate the cost of living and honestly hate much of the politics.

Most bloggers tend to put here there they are happily married with 2 kids and a dog. Nope, that is not me. I have never actually been happily married and becuase of that have been single well over 30 years, which by the way I love. I do have a son, a daughter-in-law, two wonderful grandchildren and a brand new greatgranddaughter.

I have many thoughts that tend to pop into this head of mine and decided that perhaps it is time to write them down somewhere. These range from politics, religion, society, living solo and technology. You may or you may not agree with my point of view but frankly that is alright with me. I like a good discussion.

The other thing is that I am really trying to find my creative side which I’m sure is in there somewhere. This will also be a journey of my attempt to find something creative that I might actually be somewhat good at.

A part of me has always wanted to write about my childhood and teen years. Not only for myself but for my son and his family who really don’t know (and honestly possibly don’t care) about my TCK adventure. Don’t know what a TCK is you can read about it here:  http://www.tckworld.com/

Please feel free to join me on my journey.

  1. Always nice to meet a fellow tck!

    • just took a quick glance at your blog before I head out the door. Yes…I too had that aha moment you speak of and was a true turning point in my life. I know I will be reading your adventures when I have a bit more time and so look forward to it – as well as some of the other tcks that appear to be linked to your site.
